The Disrupting Trauma Anthology brings together courageous believers who have walked through fire and emerged refined by faith.
Each contributing author has faced unimaginable pain—and chosen to let God write a different ending.
These are not polished stories from people who had it easy.
These are raw, real testimonies from survivors who refused to let trauma have the final word.
Mothers. Fathers. Entrepreneurs. Educators. Ministers. Recovering addicts. Families.
Everyday people with extraordinary faith.
A willingness to break their silence so that someone else can break free.
Rebecca J. Miller is a trauma survivor, author, and founder of the Disrupting Trauma Anthology and The G.R.O.W. (God Reveals Our Worth) Method. After surviving a gunshot to the face and spending eight years hiding behind a crooked smile, she encountered God’s love in a way that redefined her identity, purpose, and worth. Today, she uses her story to help others disrupt trauma, transforming their pain into purpose through faith-based counseling, coaching, the Disrupting Trauma anthology series, as well as speaking and mentorship for those ready to heal and rise.

Every author in this anthology said yes to something terrifying: vulnerability.
They opened wounds that had been hidden, not for sympathy — but for purpose.
They understood that their pain wasn’t wasted.
It was preparation.
When you read their chapters, you’re not just reading words on a page.
Their stories offer hope, direction, and proof that you are not alone.
Our authors come from different backgrounds, different battles, and different breakthroughs.
To disrupt the cycle of trauma and point others toward the God who reveals our worth.
Together, they are living proof that what was meant to destroy you can become the very thing that defines your destiny.
If their courage stirs something in you…
If you’ve been carrying a testimony that’s ready to be released…
You may be the next voice in the Disrupting Trauma movement.
Trauma tried to silence you.
It’s time to speak.
